Job Title: Brand Field Specialist

EssilorLuxottica is a global leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of fashion, luxury, and sports eyewear. Our wholesale network covers over 150 countries, and our retail presence consists of over 9,100 retail stores worldwide.

Job Summary:

The Brand Field Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling EssilorLuxottica products within an assigned territory. This role involves deploying effective training programs to deliver on business and sales objectives for core business partners, including independent eyecare professionals and key account retailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet sales goals and objectives for EssilorLuxottica lens brands within an assigned territory, establishing and tracking KPIs with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Schedule and maintain regular visits with all doors within the assigned territory, prioritizing sales cycle activities.
  • Actively promote EssilorLuxottica products through brand and category trainings, conducting needs analysis to identify training requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships with account management and personnel, meeting with office managers to identify business opportunities and maximize EssilorLuxottica's presence.
  • Stay knowledgeable about EssilorLuxottica products, services, promotions, advertising, and competitive offers to facilitate sales efforts.
  • Provide professional, personalized customer service to promote sales by increasing customer awareness and knowledge of EssilorLuxottica's brands and the lens category.
  • Ensure training programs are properly designed and implemented, measuring the impact and effectiveness of training (ROI).
  • Adhere to individual office policies, including dress code.
  • Conduct regular EssilorLuxottica product trainings in offices or via webinar for Account Sales Associates, Opticians, and staff.
  • Heavy travel, 80% of the time, including overnight hotel stays.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service environment, with previous merchandising, training, selling, and/or retail experience, ideally in an optical environment.
  • Heavy travel within assigned territory.
  • Car and valid Driver's License required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Excellent sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak/present, motivate, and coach in front of a large group.
  • Good negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, generate creative selling solutions, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make decisions in a complex and changing environment.
  • Proficient with PC and IOS applications, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and iPad.
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Optical experience preferred.
  • Optician license an asset.
