About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced President to join our team at the Government of Canada - Western. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our organization and making strategic decisions to drive our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement organizational policies and programs
- Establish and manage major departments and senior staff positions
- Represent the organization in negotiations and official functions
- Select and develop middle managers, directors, and other executive staff
- Manage events and conduct performance reviews
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5 years or more of experience in a senior leadership position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with computer and technology knowledge, including Jira, MS Access, MS Excel, and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
