About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Platform Engineer to join our team at AltFi Ltd. As a Staff Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in advancing our production infrastructure and release pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Architectural Approaches: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, cost-effective, and maintainable infrastructure solutions.
  • Coach Junior Engineers: Mentor and guide junior engineers in design, development, testing, and deployment best practices.
  • Develop Automation Tools: Design and implement automation tools to reduce operational friction and increase engineering efficiency.
  • Create Platform Services: Develop and automate new and existing platform and application lifecycle services, leveraging data to converge on declared states with minimal human interaction.
  • Participate in DevOps Leadership: Contribute to the leadership of DevOps and GitOps principles within the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant work experience with solid development background in Go, Python, or Java.
  • Skills: Experience building deployment pipelines leveraging common CI/CD tools.
