Job Title: Junior Platform Architect

At Canadian Tire Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Junior Platform Architect to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth integration of data, enhancing operational efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Integration Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration strategies and plans based on business requirements and existing system landscapes.
  • Designing and Architecting Integration Solutions: Design integration solutions that incorporate data streaming capabilities, analyzing business requirements, and understanding the existing system landscape.
  • Middleware Configuration and Management: Configure and manage middleware platforms, including application servers, message brokers, ESBs, and API gateways.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of data exchanged between systems, implementing authentication mechanisms, encryption techniques, and access controls.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyze system performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, leveraging knowledge of integration platforms to optimize configurations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a middleware architect with expertise in designing and implementing middleware solutions.
  • Strong understanding of different middleware platforms, integration patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience in performance optimization, scalability, security, and compliance aspects of middleware integration projects.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
