Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Transworld Logistics. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Execution
    • Plan and execute routes to ensure efficient delivery of goods
    • Monitor traffic and road conditions to optimize delivery times
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
    • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Cargo Handling
    • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
    • Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected during transport
  • Logistics and Communication
    • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
    • Record and report on delivery times, mileage, and other relevant data
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with GPS navigation
