About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Leader to join our team at The TJX Companies, Inc. As a Store Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the overall success of the store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Sales and Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer has a positive and engaging experience in the store, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the store's inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining a high level of merchandise presentation.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and implement strategies to prevent loss and reduce shrinkage in the store.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive sales growth.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education is preferred, but a minimum of a high school diploma is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of supervisory experience in retail, including operations, customer service, merchandising, people management, health and safety, and loss prevention.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including interviewing, negotiating, listening, conflict management, information gathering, and coaching.
