Context and Responsibilities
As the Director of Product Management, you will lead a team consisting of two executives and twelve professionals responsible for managing a portfolio of school management solutions. Your role will be pivotal in defining processes, practices, planning, capacity management, and overseeing the delivery of the entire suite of school management solutions. You will collaborate closely with department heads to shape the vision and development of these solutions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Advocate for the organizational vision and execute strategic initiatives in partnership with sector managers;
  • Guide, support, and energize your team, overseeing their performance and professional growth while fostering an environment of continuous improvement;
  • Establish a robust product management framework to deliver high value to clients, grounded in understanding customer needs, prioritizing initiatives for sustainable solutions, and employing data-driven decision-making supported by established processes and rigorous monitoring of product management practices;
  • Optimize resource allocation to ensure synergy and equitable workload distribution among teams;
  • Conduct strategic assessments to aid in informed decision-making;
  • Collaborate closely with support/services and development teams to implement, consolidate, sustain, or promptly discontinue solutions lacking demonstrated impact;
  • Prepare and present executive-level documentation for the board to facilitate optimal decisions regarding product management and organizational efficiency.
Your Profile
  • University degree in a relevant field or a combination of equivalent experience and education;
  • A minimum of seven to ten years of experience in product management within the IT sector;
  • At least five years of management experience;
  • Relevant experience in complex IT environments, with a strong interest in education and digital technologies;
  • Awareness of the latest industry developments;
  • Strong political acumen;
  • Exceptional communication and management skills;
  • Fluency in French and functional proficiency in English.
