About the Internship

At ei3 Corporation, we are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as Software Development Interns. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will put your problem-solving and analytical skills into action.

Responsibilities
  • Identify, reproduce, and debug software bugs in various ei3 applications
  • Assist in conducting impact analysis to determine scope of changes and develop solutions to address identified issues
  • Assist in improving our test automation to ensure the quality of software applications and systems
  • Help to maintain and improve the automation of the continuous deployment process for faster and more reliable deployments
  • Analyze existing processes and suggest recommendations for improvement in order to increase efficiency and scalability
About You

You are someone who is curious and eager to learn and experiment, and possess a strong ability to think critically and solve complex problems. You are enrolled in, or have completed (within the previous 12 months), a college or university program focusing on computer science, computer engineering, or a related field of study.

Requirements
  • Experience using at least one of these programming languages (Java, C++, Python, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with software development frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Node.js) or Vue
  • Knowledge of software design principles (e.g. object-oriented programming and MVC architectures)
  • Experience with databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of Agile software development principles and practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, and Test-Driven Development)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
  • Understanding of APIs and web services
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug software issues
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
