Software Engineer Internship at Socotra, Inc.

We're seeking a talented Software Engineer Intern to join our team at Socotra, Inc. in Montreal. As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the development of our software.

About the Role

This internship is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a university in Canada. You'll have the chance to apply your skills and knowledge in a real-world setting and gain valuable experience in a startup environment.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of our software and work on exciting projects
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
  • Develop and maintain databases
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a university in Canada
  • Available during Summer 2025 for the internship in Montreal
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and have a working proficiency in French
  • Passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment
