Software Engineer Internship at Lyft

At Socotra, Inc., we're committed to creating a collaborative environment where our team members can thrive. As a Software Engineer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, contribute to our open-source initiatives, and learn from experienced engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and share knowledge with the team
  • Develop and maintain software applications using various programming languages and technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of software solutions
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a Canadian university
  • Available for the internship in Montreal during Summer 2025
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and have a working proficiency in French
  • Passion for community, sustainability, and/or transportation
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment
