About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Regulatory Policy Specialist in the National Electric Vehicle Centre (NEVC) under LTA's Technology and Industry Development Group.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing regulatory policies and frameworks to ensure safe and reliable provision of EV charging services in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement regulatory policies and frameworks for EV charging services
  • Administer the licensing of EV charging operators and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure safe and reliable provision of EV charging services
  • Contribute to achieving outcomes of ensuring safety, managing operational constraints, and being business-friendly
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in any discipline
  • Strong writing and presentation skills, with an eye for details
  • Experience in enforcement policy or operations, such as regulating licensees or use of banned products
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational needs, and recommend effective and efficient use of enforcement resources
  • Able to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, and with various stakeholders such as companies and other government agencies
