Primary Care Medical Director Opportunity in Northern Vermont

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our Primary Care and Outpatient Medicine team in northern Vermont. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for overseeing outpatient care and quality, facilitating office flow, and acting as a direct clinical supervisor for outpatient medical practitioners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to our outpatient medical team
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and quality
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless office flow and efficient patient care
- Supervise and mentor outpatient medical practitioners to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Minimum 5 years of experience in outpatient primary care
- Strong leadership and clinical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team
- Experience with EMR optimization and implementation
- Monday through Friday, 8-5 schedule
- 28 hours of patient contact time per week, 12 admin hours (flexible)
