Position Overview

We are in search of a skilled and knowledgeable HR Manager to spearhead our human resources division. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in HR management, a thorough understanding of employment regulations, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment. In this pivotal role, you will influence our employee experience, champion HR initiatives, and ensure organizational compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute HR strategies that align with the overarching business objectives.
  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain exceptional talent.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and engagement strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to provincial, state, and federal employment laws and regulations in both the US and Canada.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation programs.
  • Lead training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career advancement.
  • Establish and maintain HR policies and procedures that reflect the company's values and ensure consistency.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes for a smooth transition.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and staff on HR-related issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with our core values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in HR management, demonstrating a successful track record in leading HR initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Breezy HR, PayChex, Asana, Slack, and Google Suite is advantageous.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Understanding of American and Canadian employment law is beneficial.
  • PHR/SPHR certification is a plus.
