Job Summary

Taco Time is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that all food is prepared to our high standards.
  • Train and develop our staff in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies to meet the needs of our menu.
  • Hire and manage our food service staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure the efficient operation of our kitchen.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Work closely with our chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure that all orders are fulfilled to our high standards.
  • Establish and maintain a clean and safe working environment for our staff and customers.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
