Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Student and Alumni Coordinator. As a key member of our Faculty of Business Administration, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating events, fostering connections within our academic community, and building relationships with alumni and students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an annual event strategy to engage students, alumni, and faculty
  • Organize and execute 20+ events per year, including community outreach activities and speaker events
  • Facilitate relationships between student groups, alumni, and faculty members
  • Provide on-site event support and post-event follow-up, including written event analysis and recommendations
  • Support student recruitment activities, including attending events, participating in calling campaigns, and providing campus tours
  • Act as a liaison between student groups and alumni, building relationships and fostering connections
  • Develop and promote activities for alumni and the Faculty of Business Administration
What You'll Bring to this Position:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 1-2 years related experience in event planning, hospitality services, and/or communications
  • Exceptional problem-solving and relationship management skills
  • Ability to connect with students and alumni in a tactful and supportive manner
  • Effective listener and problem solver with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Public speaking and presentation proficiency
  • Experience organizing and evaluating events and programming
