About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at McDonald's Restaurants. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and that all food safety procedures are followed.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are meeting performance expectations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or retail environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
