We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Regency Long Term Care Home, a 60-bed facility located in Port Hope, Ontario.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents, working collaboratively with the Director of Care and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess residents' health needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and services
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
Requirements:
  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices, including infection control
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
