Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse (Part-Time)

Southbridge Care Homes is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Regency Long Term Care Home in Port Hope, Ontario.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for assessing residents' needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing direct care to residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess residents' health needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and safety
Qualifications:
  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing and healthcare practices
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
