Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions, taking appropriate action when necessary.
  • Organize and direct care activities, ensuring the well-being of residents.
  • Assist in managing the work of nursing and personal care staff.
  • Provide training and support to new staff members, referring concerns to the Director of Care.

Requirements:

  • Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
  • A passion for caring for seniors and a serving heart.
  • Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
  • Previous experience in long-term care is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
