The ideal candidate will possess a blend of process-oriented thinking, analytical skills, and interpersonal abilities. They will grasp business priorities and assist the Operations Manager in aligning team resources with project requirements and deliverables.

This position is crucial for enhancing IMC efficiency, performance, and overall client satisfaction with IMC services.

Key operational responsibilities encompass the entire lifecycle of integrated marketing and communication programs, along with comprehensive business portfolios. Focus areas include:

  • Management of intake processes, cross-departmental integration, and resource allocation
  • Monitoring expectations, service levels, and reporting
  • Continuous enhancement and integration of processes, workflows, external partnerships, and technological tools

The Senior Analyst, Operations will track project efficiency, gather operational metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

Core Responsibilities

Intake Management and Resource Allocation

  • Assist the Operations Manager with the intake process, ensuring effective triage and assignment of strategic, complex, or cross-functional integrated marketing and communication projects, aligning them with organizational priorities and strategies.
  • Manage the daily intake of straightforward integrated marketing and communication requests, directing them to the appropriate team or individual based on established criteria.
  • Document prioritization decisions and facilitate the flow of information among IMC teams and leadership.

Continuous Improvement

  • Propose process enhancements to optimize project initiation, briefing, and other workflow processes.
  • Assess technological advancements and tool improvements to bolster workflow efficiency.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at acquiring and integrating technology and tools for the entire IMC department, including marketing technology, communication technology, artificial intelligence, project management software, automation tools, and campaign delivery systems.
  • Support essential processes and requirements to align with IMC leadership and Enterprise Procurement teams.

Service Level Monitoring and Reporting

  • Comprehend, report on, and identify opportunities to enhance the service experience for internal clients, focusing on timeliness and quality.
  • Deliver dashboards and operational insights reports to IMC and business stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Oversee project execution and the overall achievement of business objectives through the delivery of IMC programs and resource management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing operations, project/program operations, execution reporting and analysis, or marketing/communication agency operations.
  • Proficient in managing workflows and processes for a high volume of projects with diverse complexities, stakeholders, and program owners.
  • Experience with project management platforms that support marketing and communication teams, such as Asana or Jira Work Management, along with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for metrics and KPIs, effectively communicated through operations dashboards for executive and client review.
  • Enthusiastic about staying informed on the latest trends in marketing, communication, and data.
  • Proactive communicator with a pragmatic, positive approach, combining excellent decision-making skills with keen observational abilities.
  • Solid understanding of tools and technologies that enhance marketing and communication operations.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with a strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, collaboration abilities, sound judgment, and well-developed analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure while performing effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail with an understanding of effective business practices that foster customer confidence, teamwork, accountability, and adaptability.

Salary Range: $55,800 - $102,800
