Role Overview

Are you a professional with a background in veterinary medicine looking for an engaging opportunity? As a Data Mapping Consultant, your expertise will be vital in assisting practices with the transition from their legacy catalogs to our standardized VetStrategy catalog and collective approach, as part of our comprehensive migration to a contemporary cloud-based system.

Key Responsibilities

Data Mapping Execution

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our standardized VetStrategy catalog from both veterinary and business perspectives.
  • Collaborate with clinics and HCAT consultants to assess their current catalogs and guide them through the migration process to our standardized catalog and collective approach.
  • Oversee the mapping phase, ensuring a seamless transition from outdated catalogs to our new standardized catalog.
  • Assist in creating user-friendly training materials and resources to promote smooth adoption and navigation of the VetStrategy standard catalog.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clinic workflows to identify potential challenges and proactively address obstacles during the data mapping process.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data mapping, offering ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to HCAT consultants.

Interdepartmental Collaboration

  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth transitions in line with the overall project timeline.
  • Regularly update the project team with progress reports.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Engage in other projects as required by the organization.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in veterinary medicine.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in uncertain environments.
  • Familiarity with one or more patient management systems (e.g., AVImark, Logivet, Infinity, Cornerstone, Merlin) and the capacity to quickly learn new systems.
