Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely communication with internal associates and customers.

Responsibilities
  • Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and carriers to resolve part/shipment issues and optimize logistics operations.
  • Communicate critical information to internal associates and customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities for customers and implement process improvements.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of Transportation Management experience preferred, with a focus on shipment coordination.
  • Ability to learn and operate multiple transportation management and inventory systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using office tools such as MS Office or Google Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
