Job Overview

AltaGas - Project Manager

We are looking for accomplished Project Managers for upcoming roles within our Midstream Project and Engineering division. This includes both contract and permanent positions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Uphold a safety-centric approach and ensure quality throughout all stages of the project
  • Create comprehensive project schedules and serve as the primary liaison for execution efforts
  • Supervise the construction management team while nurturing essential contractual partnerships
  • Offer proactive guidance and maintain clear communication with all involved parties
  • Monitor project advancement, expenses, and timelines, delivering progress updates and solutions for potential risks and challenges
  • Oversee initial engineering tasks and prepare procurement documentation for large-scale energy initiatives

Your Qualifications:

  • A proactive mindset, fostering continuous enhancement and creative problem-solving
  • Willingness and capability to suggest improvements for increased capital efficiency and adaptability to changing project requirements
  • Over 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in large-scale oil and/or gas projects, with a preference for gas midstream
  • Registered P.Eng, CET, or equivalent

In this position, you will have the authority to question conventional practices, advance your professional development, and oversee projects from inception to operational stages.
