Position Overview: The role involves supporting the leadership of Consumable Associates and overseeing departmental functions in collaboration with the Consumables Assistant Manager, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient task execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding Customer Service by warmly welcoming all customers, assisting them in product selection, locating items, addressing concerns, and escalating issues as necessary.
- Assist in guiding and coordinating task execution according to the priorities set by the Consumables Assistant Manager and Store Management.
- Evaluate the overall presentation and condition of Consumable Departments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary merchandising adjustments.
- Delegate responsibilities and monitor the completion of daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
- Provide support with scheduling as required.
- Assign Associates to ensure adequate coverage and availability across all store areas.
- Engage in the training and development of Consumable Associates, offering constructive feedback as needed.
- Promote a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, including maintaining safety logs and ensuring displays are secure and free from debris.
Minimum Requirements:
Must be 16 years of age or older.
