Deli Department Manager

Job Summary:
The Deli Department Manager will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, leading the daily operation of the Deli Department, and achieving budgeted results while adhering to Federated Co-operatives Limited policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding guest service that promotes the Co-op's Mission and Vision and motivate the Deli team to do the same.
- Lead the development and achievement of financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses, and profits within established guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, professional standards, and performance management.
- Ensure standards of department presentation and operation are met, including ordering, merchandising, production, inventory control, sanitation, and food safety.
- Provide leadership in the area of asset protection, including reporting of workplace incidents, loss prevention, and equipment maintenance.
About You:

- Have excellent customer service skills, communication skills, and the ability to problem solve.
- Have applicable education or training (considered an asset).
- Are organized and have the ability to take direction well.
- Have previous retail deli operation or management experience.
- Are honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.
- Believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
