We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Sunview Market Ltd. As a key member of our agricultural operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient management of our rural worksites.
Key Responsibilities- Clearing and Maintenance: Supervise the clearing of fields, pens, and other work areas, ensuring that all debris is removed and the areas are safe for farm workers.
- Agricultural Operations: Coordinate and oversee the activities of farm workers, including the harvesting of crops, plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
- Machinery Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring that they are in good working condition and that all safety protocols are followed.
- Supervision: Supervise a team of 5-10 farm workers, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Worksite Management: Oversee the management of our rural worksites, ensuring that all areas are safe and well-maintained.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Work Conditions: This role is physically demanding and requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
