Job Title: Stucco Plasterer

Vernon Stucco & Plaster Ltd. is seeking a skilled Stucco Plasterer to join our team.

Job Description:Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth surface.
  • Instruct apprentices in the art of stucco plastering.
  • Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency.
  • Install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Work Environment:
  • Work in various locations, including construction sites and offices.
  • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work in a team environment, collaborating with other professionals.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in stucco plastering.
  • English language proficiency.
Working Conditions:
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent work term.
