About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our team members are equipped to provide it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering a loyal customer base and promoting repeat business.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that waste is minimized.
    • Prepare and submit reports, providing management with accurate and timely information to inform business decisions.
    • Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed and that customer service levels are maintained.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of customer service.
