Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at Industrial Machine Tool Service Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying successive coats of compound, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
  • Clean and prepare surfaces
  • Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights, in dusty and noisy environments
  • Physically demanding work, requiring handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and judgement skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a variety of locations, including commercial and residential sites, and will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
