Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
    • Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment
    • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in an appealing manner
    • Respond to customer complaints and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Experience
    • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
