Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist II or III or Licensed Professional to join our Behavioral Health Department in Vancouver. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient-centered care to individuals in need.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide brief intervention counseling and consultations with primary care providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement patient-centered care plans that promote better health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of our services.
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work, with coursework in psychological assessment.
- Current licensure or certification as a Mental Health Professional, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health evaluation and treatment.
- Experience working with evidence-based models of treatment and a strong understanding of cultural competence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
