Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our team at Holcim. As a Loader Operator, you will be responsible for operating a XE CAT front-end loader in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the smooth operation of our quarry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load 3rd party aggregate quarry trucks and maintain the pit floor, stock piles, faces, and other areas of the quarry.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained at all times, and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain proper levels of coolant, lubricants, oil, and hydraulics to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to service requirements, equipment/operator limitations, and safe operating procedures.

Qualification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Clean driver's license required.
  • Knowledge of CAT machinery, including the G CAT front-end loader and DL CAT excavator or equivalent equipment.
  • Additional experience in the industry or with large machinery is an asset.
