**Position Summary**:
To ensure the continuous operation of the pelletizer, in a safe manner, while adhering to quality standards. This position requires a very high attention to detail, highly focused and excellent skills in maintaining a continuous process.
**Responsibilities**
- Load gaylords, plastic bins of offcuts, super sacks of bottle caps or bales of jugs/purge into the palletizer
- Record the pounds for each bin or sacks on spread sheet provided
- Once done a colour or material run, record total pounds in SFM
- Stage super sacks in front of wall
- Remove empty gaylord or bins and stage in holding area
- Run the Pelletizer and perform any required quality inspections
- Support the segregating and staging of offcuts and incoming raw materials that will be pelletized
- Ensure pelletized material is blown into the correct storage silos by adhering to SWI’s
- Follow escalation process for deviations and non-conformances
- Monitor and stage blender systems, ingredients and assist in changeovers as available
- Vacuum pellets into mixing silos
- Clean area by sweeping excess pellets spillage
- Maintain filters and loaders at each machine
- Clean the vacuum system
- Clean restrictor plates
- Other duties as assigned
**Education/Experience/Skills Required**
- Extensive knowledge of the extrusion department and process
- Forklift experience
- Above average communication and leadership skills
- Very high attention to detail
