About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandising Category Planner to join our team at RONA Inc. This is a key position that requires a strong understanding of project management and product merchandising processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies for all RONA banners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, and deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues and escalate concerns
  • Contribute to the development of an action plan to maintain project execution dates
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities
Requirements
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, process development, or retail planning
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic business environment
