Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at GP Pacific Contracting. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR team and contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and programs, including recruitment strategies, employee onboarding, and performance management.
  • Support the coordination of employee benefits, including health and dental plans, and other HR programs.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to resolve HR-related issues and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with indigenous communities, visible minorities, and newcomers to Canada.
  • Knowledge of employment equity and human rights principles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
