Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to join our team at La Rocca Creative Kitchen Richmond Hill. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing dough, baking mixed dough and batters, and decorating cakes and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for various baked goods according to recipes or special orders, and bake mixed dough and batters to meet quality standards.
  • Decorating and Presentation: Decorate cakes and baked goods to ensure they meet our high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery safely and efficiently to meet production demands.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, ability to distinguish between colors, and attention to detail.
