About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cook's Helper at Honest Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items, including cooking, plating, and garnishing.
    • Ensure that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in a visually appealing manner.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
    • Ensure that all cleaning and sanitation tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our guests, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and responding to customer inquiries.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are friendly, courteous, and professional.
  • Inventory and Stock Management
    • Assist in the management of inventory and stock levels, including ordering and receiving supplies.
    • Ensure that all inventory and stock levels are accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that all tasks and responsibilities are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 13.5 kg/30 lbs).
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
