About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at GOOD KARMA. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and food safety.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and presentation of food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Plateware and Supplies: Ensure that all plateware, glassware, and utensils are clean and sanitized before use.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
  • General Kitchen Duties: Assist with loading and unloading dishwashers, washing dishes by hand, and restocking refrigerators and salad bars.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Teamwork: You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Reliability: You must be punctual, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
