Position Overview:

Are you enthusiastic about engaging in a vibrant atmosphere filled with entertainment and social interaction? We are seeking a dedicated Bartender to join our dynamic team at Cineplex, where we redefine the entertainment experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to patrons.
  • Ensure compliance with age restrictions by checking identification.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Take drink orders and process payments efficiently using the POS system.
  • Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
  • Restock bar supplies and maintain inventory of beverages.
  • Create an inviting atmosphere by arranging bottles and glassware attractively.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred completion of bartending courses.
  • 1-2 years of bartending experience.
  • Smart Serve Certification is an asset.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced and high-energy atmosphere.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures.
