About the Role:

Cineplex Entertainment is seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at The Rec Room in Masonville London. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of cocktails and other beverages to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix and serve cocktails and other beverages to guests
  • Check identification of guests to ensure they meet the minimum drinking age
  • Take drink orders and serve drinks to guests
  • Collect payment and operate point-of-sale system
  • Serve food to guests seated at the bar
  • Clean and maintain the bar area, including washing glasses and utensils
  • Restock bar supplies and maintain inventory
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive guest experience

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completed bartending classes preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of bartending experience
  • Current provincial Smart Serve certification considered an asset
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and ability to mix cocktails quickly and accurately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle large crowds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

The Mixologist will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of guests. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service in a high-pressure situation.
