Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes.
  • Ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations by checking guest identification.
  • Manage drink orders efficiently, providing prompt service to patrons and waitstaff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point of sale system.
  • Recognize signs of intoxication and take appropriate action to ensure guest safety.
  • Prepare garnishes and maintain an attractive presentation of the bar area.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the team and enhance guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of bartending courses is preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bartending role.
  • Smart Serve Certification is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixing techniques.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage large crowds.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in high-pressure situations.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures in a busy bar setting.
