Job Summary

Unifi Aviation Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Airport Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our airport services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Manage the daily allocation and movement of ground service equipment, including aircraft movement, baggage handling, and cargo operations.
  • Equipment Management: Allocate, track, and maintain ground service equipment, including ordering and receiving new equipment as needed.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and follow-up to ensure effective use of equipment and task assignments.
  • Communication: Collaborate with airline partners, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues, including baggage scanning, flight hold decisions, and chargeback analysis.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor operational performance and provide feedback to the airline's management team.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Participate in staff briefings and provide input on staffing opportunities.
  • Crew Planning: Create and update crew planners to ensure effective crew deployment.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of airline operations experience is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient in PC-based applications, task allocation software, inventory control software, and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including radio, telephone, and written communication.
  • Shift Work: Ability to work shift work, including weekends and AM/PM shifts.
