Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to join our team at Aftab Rizvi. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to meet clients' dietary needs
  • Assist with grocery shopping and other errands as needed
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Flexibility, initiative, and a patient demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment. Optional accommodation may be available at no charge on a live-in basis, but this is not a condition of employment.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 to 44 hours per week.
