Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Watch Me Grow Child Care Centre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of young children in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and take children on outings to local points of interest, while engaging them in crafts and other activities.
- Child Support: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and observe them for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems.
- Communication and Collaboration: Discuss progress and problems of children with parents, guardians, or supervisors, and establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
- Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children, and plan and organize activities for school-age children before and after regular school hours.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
