Parts Counter Clerk

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Counter Clerk to join our team at Cummings Small Engine Service. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service, answering customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and processing returns.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, processing orders, and managing inventory discrepancies.
- Assist customers with product selection, providing recommendations and information on small engine parts and accessories.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meeting sales targets and deadlines while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a sales or customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
This is a full-time position, working 39-40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
