We are seeking a highly skilled Banquet Manager to join our team at Mag Events Ltd. as an Event Planning Expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing high-quality events, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and implement event concepts, themes, and menus in collaboration with the culinary team.
    • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of event requirements.
    • Manage event timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure successful execution.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Inventory Management and Control
    • Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining event supplies.
    • Ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Health and Safety Regulations
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
    • Develop and implement procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Performance Reviews and Evaluation
    • Conduct regular performance reviews with team members to ensure they are meeting expectations.
    • Evaluate event success, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
    • Permanent employment with a minimum of 35 to 40 hours per week.
    • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
