Job Summary

The Patient Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the patient experience within the healthcare practice, ensuring efficient scheduling, communication, and support throughout the patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, including scheduling confirmations and follow-ups.
  • Assist patients with registration and insurance verification processes.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and communication.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in a patient-facing role within a healthcare setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in practice management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
