Job Title: Tile Setter

Singh Masonry Ltd is seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for preparing, measuring, and marking surfaces to be covered with tile, mixing and applying adhesives, and setting tiles in place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for tile installation, including measuring and marking walls and floors.
  • Mix and apply adhesives to ensure a strong bond between the tile and the surface.
  • Set tiles in place, using a combination of hand tools and power tools.
  • Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings, using hand and power cutting tools.
  • Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
  • Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets.
  • Cut, surface, polish, and install marble and granite.
  • Install tile strips.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:

The work environment is physically demanding, with dusty and noisy conditions. The work setting is varied, with tasks performed in different locations.

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.Experience:

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in tile setting or a related field.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week.
