Job Title: Water Wastewater Design Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Wastewater Design Lead to join our team in Toronto or Halton offices. As a key member of our engineering consulting firm, you will be responsible for designing process mechanical systems, managing interdisciplinary design teams, and assisting project managers with project planning and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Design process mechanical systems, including direct and take responsibility of the production of engineered drawings, for municipal water / wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Manage and coordinate interdisciplinary design teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Assist project managers with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with local design and construction standards, and ensure compliance with permits and approvals.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in water and wastewater engineering, with at least 5 years in a consultancy.
  • Eng., or eligibility for registration in Ontario.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
