Job Description

WSP Canada is seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Engineer to join our Water-Wastewater Treatment Infrastructure department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing water and wastewater treatment systems, as well as conducting hydraulic water modeling and asset management activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of technical analysis and design reports;
  • Conduct asset management activities for water and wastewater facilities;
  • Prepare and review drawings and technical documents;
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement water and wastewater treatment systems;
  • Conduct hydraulic water modeling and analysis to optimize system performance;
  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of water and wastewater infrastructure;
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in water and wastewater treatment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or a related field;
  • Registered as an EIT or P.Eng in any province in Canada;
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in municipal and/or industrial water and wastewater infrastructure;
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes and technologies;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation, Civil 3D, or Softdesk.
